Also, even though there are four difficulty settings (easy, easy, easy and impossible) because of the rubber banding the outcome of each race feels exactly the same - with the only real difference being that the AI are fractionally less aggressive with each difficulty setting.
The AI rubber banding is awful (there's something deeply disatisfying about driving four flawless laps and being passed on the finish line by an AI car travelling faster than the speed of light) and considering career will be the the primary/only used game mode to the bulk of gamers then that's not really a good thing. It's funny because the more I played it the more I realised I may have been a little hasty with the initial euphoria. Dull colours, badly draw cars and that bloody girl wont shut up on it.
